Our Statement of
Faith
|
|
-
We
believe the Bible to be inspired and infallible.
-
We
believe that there is only one God, eternally
existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
-
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who
came in the flesh.
-
We
believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling the repentant sinner becomes a
new creation and is empowered to live a godly life.
-
Humanity cannot do anything to merit salvation from
God.
-
Jesus
Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is
composed of everyone who have been united in Him
through saving faith.
-
We
believe in the resurrection of both the saved and
the lost.

|
|
|

|
Our Theological
Rationale
We hold these spiritual
mandates to be biblically evident: |
|
- The church neglects Her
power when She becomes lukewarm, fruitless, and
dysfunctional;
- God continues to call
individuals and groups into being for apostolic ministries
to identify, equip, and unleash the saints and their gifts
for ministry;
- God's purposes extend beyond
the local church to create communities and homes where
Christ is followed 24/7;
- Seeing the need can be God's
call to be messengers to and for the Church
|
|
Our Core Values
|
- We are ultimately
accountable to Jesus Christ, God's Son, the only Savior, and
Lord of all;
- Our ultimate guide for Truth
and direction are the Old and New Testaments of the Bible;
- We will operate with
integrity to achieve excellence in all matters;
- We will challenge one
another, and those we serve, to love the Lord our God with
all our heart, mind, soul, and strength and our neighbors as
ourselves;
- We will model for and teach
those we serve to carry out Jesus' command to make disciples
because all are sinners in need of salvation;
- Our primary indicators of
effectiveness will focus upon the spiritual potential of
those we serve.
|
| The
Identified Need |
|
|
Churches are often ready and willing
to submit to Christ and collaborate with other parts of Christ's
body, but lack the means and
the skills to be effective. |

Our Process for
Governance |
|
Policy Governance®, an integrated
board leadership paradigm created by Dr. John Carver, is a
groundbreaking model of governance designed to empower boards of
directors to fulfill their obligation of accountability for the
organizations they govern. The model enables the board to focus
on the larger issues, to delegate with clarity, to control
management's job without meddling, to rigorously evaluate the
accomplishment of the organization; to truly lead its
organization. Evaluation,
with such carefully stated expectations, is nothing more than
seeking an answer to the question, "Have our expectations been
met?" The board, having clarified its expectations, can assess
performance in that light. This focused approach reduces the
mountains of paperwork boards often feel obliged to review.
Moreover, those boards which worry that they are only furnished
the data management wants to give them find that, in stating
their expectations and demanding a relevant and credible
accounting of performance, they have effectively taken over
control of their major information needs. Their staff no longer
has to read their minds.
Policy Governance is a radical
and effective change in the way boards conceive of and do their
job. It allows greater accountability. Board leadership isn't
just rhetoric. It's a reality.

What's in a Name? |
ALLASSO
(ah-lah-so') Greek verb: Allassw.
[I Corinthians 15:51,58]
(1)
to be changed; to be transformed; (2) with
the promise of a resurrected body for all believers, we have the confidence to
stand firm and bring the Good News to everyone; (3)
So our ministries may be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of
the Lord, because we know that, in the Lord, our labor is not in vain.

OUR UNDERSTANDING FOR FRUITFUL MINISTRY IS
To
provide executive staffing services so as to strategically renew a strategic discipleship methodology for the 21st century that cultivates
Christian maturity and disciples members to become missionaries who communicate
the Gospel with their peers and community while offering authentic community
within their local church. We will do this within three ministry
initiative areas
ALLASSO
MINISTRIES' can help
churches develop, improve, and maintain a Christ-centered, quality, relational,
affordable, long-term Christian Education ministry for congregations of all
sizes and all denominations.
ALLASSO MINISTRIES'
new
paradigm for Christian Education focuses upon ministering and encouraging a team
of adults who lead the on-going ministry.
ALLASSO MINISTRIES'
would
be like an additional staff person who mobilizes the laity of a local church
toward one common goal - to invite individuals, from any background, into a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ who are genuinely affirmed by members of
a local congregation to grow in maturity so as to transform the world through
compassion and mission.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be
inspired and infallible. Holy Scriptures are the only authoritative Word of God
and our practical guide for daily living.
We believe that there is only one
God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh. We
believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His imminent personal
return in power and glory. He is the only advocate and intermediary between God
and humanity.
We believe in the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the repentant sinner becomes a
new creation and is empowered to live a godly life.
Humanity cannot do anything to
merit salvation from God. Without repentance of sins, humanity is lost and
therefore separated from God. Salvation is only by the grace of God through a
personal and dynamic faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who receive, by faith,
the Lord Jesus Christ are born-again and empowered by the Holy Spirit and have
become children of God.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the
Church, His Body, which is composed of everyone who have been united in Him
through saving faith. God admonishes His people to assemble together for regular
worship, for participation in the sacraments, for edification through
Biblically-based teaching, and for mutual encouragement.
We believe in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost. They that are saved unto the resurrection of life
and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Christological Affirmation
We Affirm Jesus
Christ: The Son
"He (Jesus)... said to them, 'But who do you say that I am?'
Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.' And
Jesus answered him, 'Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood
has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven." (Matthew 16:15-17
NRSV)
We affirm, in accordance with Holy Scripture and with
the Holy Spirit's help, that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.
Confession of Jesus as the Son is essential, not a matter of personal opinion.
It is a matter of revelation, which was given to Peter and to the Church by God
whom Jesus called Father. With Peter and the other Apostles, we confess that
Jesus is the Christ. We confess with John and the other Apostles that in Jesus
of Nazareth, the Word made flesh, the eternal Son of God has come into the world
to make known the fullness of God's glory in grace and truth (John I). Therefore
we confess, in continuity with the apostolic witness of the Church, that Jesus
Christ is "true God from true God" (the Nicene Creed), the Second Person of the
Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We Affirm Jesus Christ:
The Savior
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other
name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12
NRSV)
We affirm, in accordance with Holy Scripture and with
the Holy Spirit's help, that Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of the
world. In him, we see not only the fullness and the glory of God, but also the
model and power for our own freedom from the bondage of sin and death (Heb.
2:14-18). Through his obedient life, teaching, and ministry, his death on the
cross for the sins of the world, and his bodily resurrection, he is the Savior
of the world. God through Jesus Christ conquers sin and death, brings salvation
to this rebellious world, and reconciles "the world to himself" (2 Corinthians.
5:18-21).
We Affirm Jesus Christ:
The Lord
"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your
lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as
you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you
captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition,
according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to
fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority."
(Colossians 2:6-10 NRSV)
We affirm, in accordance with Holy Scripture and with
the Holy Spirit's help, that Jesus Christ is the one and only Lord of creation
and history. In the midst of many competing voices, the Church seeks to hear,
trust, and obey Jesus the Lord and his commandments (1 Corinthians. 8:5,6). True
authority in the Church derives from, and furthers obedience to this Lord. True
authority in the Church holds the community accountable to this Lord, especially
when teachings and practices arise that undermine or deny his Lordship.

Ministry Results!
Discipling Christians to Disciple
Disciples
|
 |
It is our ministry
calling to lead churches beyond our limited caterpillar existence, and through
the unknown reality of the cocoon, so as to re-emerge as a butterfly which knows
no limitations. It is through God's grace and the empowerment of the Holy
Spirit that we can achieve all that the Spirit of the Lord is leading His Church
to be and become.
It is through God's grace and the
empowerment of the Holy Spirit
that we can achieve all that the
Spirit of the Lord is leading His
Church to be and become.
Our ministry aspiration is to assist your
local church more effectively mobilize its disciple-making ministries. Our
creative staffing solution offers multiple experienced staff ("Executive Staff")
available to serve you for the price of what it would cost to hire a single 1/4
time staff person. Our process is simple:
- Coach the Ministry Coordinators
Our discipleship strategy is to disciple these coordinators (children, youth,
young adults, family/marriage, and adults) to disciple disciples to disciple.
We are intentional upon multiplying their ministry impact by drawing upon the
ministry expertise of our Executive Staff members.
- Train the Leaders
Effective leadership depends upon one's ability to equip ministry leaders
for their specialized ministry roles. And because most of our leaders
have full-time careers, we maximize their ministry impact by offering quality
training, resources, networking, and planning tools.
- Resource the Lay Ministry Teams
In the midst of information overload, our Executive Staff will help to
alleviate your busy-work and free you to focus upon relationships and ministry
results.
We simply compliment your existing ministry
aspirations by offering our services so as to continue
the good work you've already begun. It has been our experience that
ministry can become isolated
and even lonely. Our Executive Staff desire to serve you and your
ministry dreams. It's all about
strengthening your ministry teams, offering you and your leaders a network
filled with ministry peers,
and generating opportunities to increase your creativity and ministry output.
John Maxwell has a great acronym, "T.E.A.M. -
Together Everyone Accomplishes More." Our
Executive Staff have served in churches as small as nine in worship to
400. Each congregation is
unique because of its local community, size of the congregation, and
denominational affiliation. Our
primary objective is to serve you in the areas that will strengthen your
age-level discipleship ministries.
And we believe this is best accomplished through lay ministry teams and
networking you with ministry
peers. Together, not only will you accomplish more but you'll regain your
creativity, passion, and joy.
Contact us as we'd love to know how we might
partner with you and your local ministry teams.
